Stewart Engines is a high quality performance engine builder. We strive to build engines which incorporate both winning horsepower with reliable performance that customers can count on. We take great pride in serving each and every customer’s specific needs; understanding it is important to provide the same quality service regardless of the level of motorsports the customer is participating at. Owner Jim Stewart has 15 years experience building racing engines. He has developed his craft by learning from some of the best engine programs in motorsports today. Working as a professional engine builder and tuner, Jim Stewart has scored victories in both the CART and the Indy Racing League series as an employee of both Cosworth Engineering and Toyota Racing Development, respectively. Jim opened Stewart Engines in 2000 seeing the need for high quality racing engines for amateur competition in the Mid West. Stewart Engines provides machine work and engine build services at a much higher quality than its competitors. We accomplish this by using the newest precision machinery available, and by only hiring well-educated professionals with the proper credentials and experience. We understand the spec engine business and have racked up a impressive 45 race victories in the last three years in other spec engine series.
